problems installing sql server on vista business
I have installed SQL Server 2005 as well as Service Pack 2 on Vista Business. At the completion of installing the Service Pack, the SQL Server 2005 Provisioning Tool for Vista is displayed indicating the administrator account does not have SQL Server administrative privileges. However, the Available Privileges list box is empty. Since I cannot add SQL Server privileges to the Windows administrator account, I'm stuck. SQL Server will not allow me to connect or run the Surface Area Configuration.
Has anyone encountered this problem? Can anyone help me?
