Default ToolStripMenuItem Enter & Leave Event

Hi
I need an Event such as Enter and leave Event For ToolStripMenuItems.
in fact I need an Event when toolstripMenuItem is Active the Enter event become fire and when toolstripMenuItem is diactivated the Leave Evente become fire

the ToolStripMenuItem Class doesn't these Events in normally. can I Declare these Evente For this Class?

What about MouseEnter and MouseLeave?

I want handle the Keyboard keys and performe some action when ToolStripMenuItem become Active (enter Event) and when it become deactive too.

I've had a look and I can't think of any way of doing what you are asking - which is indeed strange. You might like to ask on the MSDN forums though.

I created a custom Menu Strip with costum ToolStripMenuItem.
i override ToolStripMenuItem Class For creating a custom toolstripItem.
I override th paint method, when the mouse is over the item, the gradient rectangle was drwan on the toolstripitem..
i override the MouseEnter event and insdie it i called the Invalidate method to force the toolstripitem to draw...
it works fun.. but when user use keyboard to scrol items, the invalidate method didn't call, there for my custom shape doesn't work coorectly .. i need a event which fire paint event wehn user use keaybord to get items..

keyboard doesnt call OnPaint function.. d

Did u find the solution..

Pls Pls let me know the solution..
 i got serious problem with this error..
