i was wondering if i could get a list of all the programs that load on startup, this should include myspace IM and other things, and also, is there a way (i want to do this programmatically to make myself feel smart lol) to change that list(i mean alter it) so that maybe myspaceIM doesnt load itself on startup, i know i can do this easy by clicking a checkbox but thats borring to me. How do i get a list of those things and how to i alter the list? thanks in advance to whoever responds. :)

If you mean programatically then one way is to read the appropriate registry entries. Current User or Local Machine > Software > Microsoft > Windows > Current Version > Run

ok, i did a quick google search now that i know the term to type in. i found a tutorial but i cant add Microsoft.Win32 because it is not in my "Add Reference" list.

do i need to download that?
