Default Load Crystal Report Viewer is faster

i just want to know, after some experience,i wonder, why can crystal report viewer load report faster if we load report with parameter discrete value from stored procedure ?
if we design report without parameter field(s),i take data from view or some tables, when the report with the
selection formula included(to filter report for some system requirements),we need to refresh report and such report design when first loaded is long, like doing some caching files.user is sometime complain when he/she wants to print report, has to wait for some times(one minute or more),but if we load report which includes parameter discrete value the report loads faster, seems to do less processing.
if there's somebody knows about it, please explain me.thanks.
