Default help with compiling

i need hlp with this c++ programing stuff im an extreme biginner no experience at all, anyway i need help with compiling my first program, "helloworld" but when i try to compile it with borland's compiler it says that its unable to include file iostream.h in my cmd program. why???:(:(

Is because you don't have that file and you need to include the file iostream.h or reinstal the compiper again. or some other error in your source code, can you post your source?

Check the version of compiler you are using, if its borland 3/4.5/5, then u don't use the .h on the header files, only use iostream then include the 'using namespace std' directive.

Else, check you compiler installation.

do you need the helloworld program?

If you are new to C++ programming and would like to learn it fast I suggest :

this is a site that copied down the only book I would recommend for beginners

if you need the code for something else what do you need it for?
