Default Where to learn C++ Windows Programming

Where can I learn C++ Windows Programming? If the best thing is a book, which book would you recommend? Thx . :D

One good book i recommend is called..... MFC from the ground up or Windows programming.... both by Herbert Schidlt..... the latter usees API directly.....
