I am new to this group, so I thought I would see whether anyone
would respond to this before I gave it a shot. Since it hasn't
happened, here goes:

Is this a C or C++ question, or is it a numerical analysis
question?

If you are already familiar with the mathematics of matrix
inversion (Gauss reduction, Gauss-Jordan, etc.) and want to
know about representing and manipulating matrix and vector
objects in C or C++, maybe you can ask some specific questions,
and I'll bet that someone here can help you.
