Default c language help!!!

hi guys i'm a newbie and planning to study the c/c++/c# language...what book would you prefer or recommend me
for a jumpstart in c language...:)

Get youself registered and buy books on Amazon.com from Wrox, especially Karli Watsons books. Can't go far wrong

If you're coming from a VB background like I did, then you'll find that a VB to C# converter like Instant C# is valuable (they have a free downloadable snippet converter 'demo' at www.instantcsharp.com).
