DataGridTextBoxColumn Formating

Hi there:
Is there any1 who had set format for DataGridTextBoxColumn in design time?!
I have a string(length=6) Column to format like 12/34/56

Any help will appreciated!

convert the column to template column so you can modify the column controls properties
