Default GetNextControl method

Hi there:
I wanna add some facility to my app. & need to have next conntol name.
I met GetNextControl but I couldnt work with that.
I couldnt sauced useing ctl
Can anybody help me, Tnx in advance.

Did you have any problem with GetNextControl or did it not turn out to be the write function for you.

I donno! I couldnt work with it & no document or sample I could find.
I need to skip the control as user press TAB. thats it.

Skip the control-- you mean if the focus is on 3rd control and user presses tab the focus should jump to 5fth control.

If you know beforehand which control to skip you can turn the TabStop property of that control to false and the control will never get the focus on pressing the TAB key.

If your requirement is different and you are somehow doing it using GetNextControl, well here is a little code I wrote if that helps you understant how GetNextControl works

            Control Ctl = button11;

            do{
                if(Ctl is TextBox)
                    MessageBox.Show("Text Box");

                MessageBox.Show(Ctl.Name);
                Ctl = GetNextControl(Ctl,true);
            }while(Ctl != null);

Opps!!! my error was bc of useing sender as a object [u]instead of Contol</u>
