Default Shelling out with c#

There seems to be some information on the 'net about using System.Diagnostics.Process() to call out to shell in c#. However, the articles don't talk about how to capture the output from the process that your executing.

Anyone have any pointers?

Thanks,

Hal Levy

What sort of output are you trying to capture? And, what sort of process are you running?

I'd like to see some feedback on this topic as my experience with the process() is not so great. Apps that you call don't have to obey window state, etc. arguments. For example, I tried to call iTunes to play a file without the window showing up and it ignored me. And you have no control over it once it starts.

I'm thinking that VBA is the way you need to automate apps, provided they support it.
