How do I Read MicroSoft Word Docs with C#?

Is there a way of readily reading MicroSoft Word Text --in particular being able to identify subscripted , superscripted underlined and bold characters.

I know C# enables you to use RichText but how does one establish a subscripted, or underlined character?
