I am programming for moto T720. I connect the T720 to my PC via the USB cable and test it with some AT codes in HyperTerminal. Some AT codes are acceptable like "at+cpbs=?" etc.

Now I want to send short message by launching the AT codes "AT+CMGS=?"
" to T720 but fail to get correct result. So does the T720 implement the same or similar functions of sending SMS but with their own, non-standard commands? If so, what's that?

On that page is a link to "Wireless Messaging API", which is a PDF with code examples written in Java. Since I don't personally own a T720, I can't experiment with it, but it should get you going.
