how to record session information

iam not getting about the procedure to record session information on a page in my application. iam building this application in C# and mind u its not a web application its a GUI application.
iam using HttpWebRequest and HttpWebResponse to do it all and iam not able to accomplish it as of yet.
so anyone be kind enough to help me on this. i will be very thankful.
