Default populating online text fields etc

Hi folks,

Hope you can help.
Is there a way, for example of filling out the textfield on google.co.uk and submitting the search from a c# programme?

Am fairly new to all this and appreciate any help you can give me.

Cheers
Robert

You don't really need to "fill out" the page. You just create an HttpRequest with the POST method and containing the pertinent information (i.e. the search field with a value).

Easier than that would be to do a regular GET request to the search page. For example:

http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=wallace+%26+gromit

There is also the option of using the Google Web Services, these allow more sophisticated searches and the results come back in a more user friendy format.
