I have a question regarding crystal report 8.0.


Can we achieve case sensitivity in crystal report while grouping the records?

E.g. Can we make two different groups of records based on a field whose values are MEHAR1 and mehar1 ?



Actually we have changed the collation of some fields of base tables in SQL Server for achieving case sensitive comparisons.

But while we are trying to print the report Ein which records are grouped on these fields - crystal report clubs all the records.

Actually Crystal Report provides an option for using SQL Data as Case-Sensitive or Case-Insensitive under 'File' -> 'Report Options' menu. And I was missing that.
