Default Windows forms saving

I want to save windows form and controls (text box,button,user control.. ) along with there properties to hard disk or Database at run time.I tried using with serialization but i am facing some problems like events,form we can't serialize ...Is there any good solution for saving form into disk or Database.

After resorting form also i can able to modify restored form and its controls properties.

I think you will need to save off the various values and such that are in the form instead of trying to save the form as a whole object.

Actually i wants to develop Microsoft Visio type application using C#.
with out using Visio dll.Is there any good solution.

That doesn't really give me anything to go on. Are you looking to save user data or application state data?

What aspects of visio are you trying to put into your application?
