I have a table which returns records from a recordset. Each record contains a unique number. I want that unique number to be a link that opens another asp page where the record data is shown in a form form so that it can be modified when submitted. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

You could use a querystring like so:

Response.Write "<a href='yourpage.asp?record_id=" & rs("record_id") & "'>Click Me</a>

On the subsequent page you will pull in the querystring like so:

Dim strID
strID = Request.Querystring("record_id")

You can then query the database with the record id and complete your form.
