Dear Sudhan / Iniro,

Could you please change the FROM ADDRESS with a different valid email address registered in the domain of the site you are doing ?

Believe it or not, this problem has happened to me several times. In all the cases, when I changed the From address, it started sending the mails correctly.

I will also try to provide some help on SMTP configuration.

Hi Madhu,

Well i havent worked any further on the MAIL thing yet .. but i had a talk with my system administrator .... and he said that although the SMTP settings are correct, on our DOMAIN something called SMTP authentication is also needed ... he is gonna help me on that on MONDAY ....

in the mean time could you plz tell me details about DROP,QUEUE and BADMAIL folders in MAILROOT directory .... like what they are made for ... and WHEN & WHY does an EMAIL land in these folders ... all that i know about them i have already written in an earlier POST ...

it would be great if you add something to it or specify a LINK where i can find more information on them ...

See you on Monday ...

Sudhan.
