Hi Chris,
On the formatable text here in this site, it is done using javascript, and the formatting toolbar shown above the edit box is being done in a simpler and easy to use manner. On click of any button that inserts the formatting tags, which then replaced with the ORIGINAL HTML tags on submit of post and shown on the page in respective formats.
If you are okay with that, that can be done too. But I believe the one I redirected you should be of more help, if you don't find it difficult.
Cheers!

Hello Happy & hcweb,
I have also used this control - HTMLAREA. It is perfectly suitable for this purpose. You can create your own tools also. This control is much better than all WYSIWYG editors (which normally opens in a new window) I have seen. The best thing about this is - when you select a text, the format tools will change to reflect the current font/colour of the selected text. I have not seen this in any light weight (not using any VB controls) WYSIWYG editors.

Hi madhukp,
That is nice to hear from someone who has used it already and recommends it too.
Dont worry Vijay, you haven't suggested a bad option here(telling to myself);).
Now it really tends me to try out this tool. Waiting to hear from hcweb, if that really helped him.
Cheers!

Hey all..
I just had a chance to download. Looks very straight forward and easy to use. I'm about to try it out right now and I'll get back to you on my results.
Thanks again to everyone who responded!
Chris

Downloaded, installed, and ran like a champ.
Had a little bit of an issue where it didn't want to pick up the actual path to the editor. js at first (after reading the message board, other people had the same problem), but other than that it runs great. This has saved me a ton of work (and what's left of my hair!)
happygv, bmains, madhukp, shahchi1,
You guys absolutely rock! I appreciate all your help with this! If I can ever return a favor, just simply ask!!
Chris
