Default Message Board Example Code

Hello
Where can I get a example of Message Board code. Something that is simple and to the point.

I tried to use Community Starter Kit but it is way to complicated with too many bells and whistles.

I looked for an example in books but I can't find one.

Similar to this "New Topic" GUI.

Thanks so much
