I want to do the exact same thing as you guys have on the main page of your forums page. Were you can click the + sign and it shows more options, and the - sign and it shows only the title of the category. The only way i know how to do that is have every one in the URL address as a querystring, but that is not effectient, and then it would go back to the default every time.... What is a better way of doing what i would like

Use cookies or store the information in a database. Everytime the person clicks the + or - signs the page reloads and the code updates the person's cookies or database.

If you've already got the code to work using parameters passed via the URL, fixing it to work with cookies shouldn't be a bid deal.
