Default handheld devices and ASP

I would like my ASP applications(not the .NET version) written in classic ASP 3.0 to be viewed and used by people who use handheld devices. Can I write such ASP applications? If so how do I get started on this? pointers to articles, sample code etc.. would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.
