Default How to display in Palm Top

Hi all,

My requirement is little bit different. I want to know how can i trap that the request for my web page is coming form a desktop PC or a palm top.
When we open Google from palm top it displays the screen design according to the palm top screen the same is my requirement. How google knows that my request is from a PC or a palm top and displays web page accordingly.

pl help.

It is always safe to assume, not that the old way is wrong, but that there may be a better way...

I have not used it. But you can try browser capabilities component to determine the type of browser and operating system.

Here there is a platform attribute to determine the platform of browser. You can get the client OS from its value.

The following links may be of help.
