   I have the same problem of error ( ActiveX component can't create object: 'Word.Document' ). You said you have changed the setting and it is running ok now, can you teach me what should I do in the DCOMCNFG and what setting to be done in the security under the internet option?

Did you solve your problem? All I do when I try to use ActiveX control is: in the internet explorer,
Tools ->Internet Options ->Security->Customer Level, check "Download Unsigned ActiveX Control" from disable to Enable, try it again.

     i am having problem with word autoamtion. my coding is working fine in the local system.but it is very slow and not open the file in the terminal server. please anyone help me.

hi all,
 i am doing a project on uploading and downloading files from local server.
i hav created axtivex control for uploading and downlaoding
but i client has not enabled the activex then the error comes

can i change the client browser settings automaticallay (not manually) or is there any another way to do this???

please tell me
