Default Frontpage 2002?

Is anyone familiar with Frontpage 2002?

With FP98, I used to get a symbol showing where the VBScript code was in the page.

With FP2002 I get no symbol at all for VBScript there is some accompanying text (such as preceding it with  ). FP seems to take the VBScript as missing HTML and automatically inserts   after the VBScript.

Is there any way around this annoying behaviour? The problem persists, even if I set 'Preserve Existing HTML'.

Thanks
Pat

Constructively - FP, DW etc, are great if you aren’t competent at hand coding. Those type of programmes will always try to think for you, insert unnecessary bits of code, create unnecessary files (even directory’s). So much so there are forums for them, you will get a great deal of help there.

Configured correctly - Using Homesite (great tool), Edit Plus etc eliminates all of these problems
