Default Refreshing Contents Of A Variable from Database

I wld lke to know how to refresh contents of a variable after a particular time period.For Eg.Scoreboard.The scoreboard disply gets rerehsed after some time and new score os displyed

You can use meta tag to do the same:

<META HTTP-EQUIV=Refresh CONTENT="10; URL=http://www.test.com/">

tells the browser to load http://www.test.com/ 10 seconds after the current document has finished loading.
