Default onChange posting back to same page?

I need to have an onChange event that posts the new value of a <input type="text"> back to the same page with the new value. I am not very good at JavaScript, and would really appreciate the help. I am currently using good ole ASP!

Thx

This would be better suited in the JS forum, anyhow:

onChange="Javascript:FormName.submit();"
