Default IIS 2003 Can't Debug - Please HELP!

Hi:

As stated in the post below, I can't get the IIS (2003) to display detailed error messages.

Chris Scott has tried diligently to help me but I don't think he understands the problem.

I can't help but think that *someone* has run into this.
I'm having the problem on 3 different servers.

How do I make IIS return detailed server errors to the client?
Yes, I did Config>Debug> Server Side Errors >> Send detailed error messages to the client . . .

Please help.
