Default How do I host a web application ?

I have a web application created using C#.net. Its working properly in the localhost. But, when i host it to the web server i'm getting an error like "Server Error in / Application". Please help me by suggesting a solution to override this problem.

That could be pretty near ANYTHING.
I'd start by trying to post a Test.aspx with NOTHING but a basic HTML page.
See if that will appear.

Are you using a database?
Are there any connections, etc. that you might be using that can't be seen from the Web server?
