Default Online alive support

I have been working on an online support alive page.
Basically I use a data base and two smal windows done in java script,
anyway, Iam going nowhere, when i write in one screen i need to other screen to refresh so the page can take the info from the data base that have been updated in that minute, I just do not know if the concept that i am using is wrong, could please some just give me an idea.

To control the refreshing of particular windows check out http://www.irt.org and look at their JavaScript FAQs. If it doesn't need to display until you submit a form on window one, it should not be very difficult. There are more complex methods of displaying info in on window as it is being written in another, but it is more complex.
