Image Uploading

This is zaeem a student of BS(CS) having final project.
When I create Member in my site he/she should give the path of his/her picture that picture should be uploaded at the web server. When that member logon his/her picture should be displayed.
Please assist me in this regard.

Check out Microsoft site, it has a very good image uploading code for ASP. For displaying, store the virtual path in a database field and use it while displaying it.

Can anyone help me on how to:
1. Uploading Images to a MS-SQL Database ( C# )
2. Retrieving Images from MS-SQL Database ( C# ) and displaying on a datagrid.

Personally, I wouldn't use the Microsoft Component. It has a few quirks, including destroying session variables after the first upload.

There are lots of free and commercial upload components available. These components allow you to upload and save images at the server to disk. One of them is the Dundas Upload control. It's free, it comes with good documentation, and is pretty easy to work with.
