Default ASP with web components

Hi everyone..

Im hoping that someone may be able to help me. the aim is to develop an online system (using asp and access) to show facts and figures stored in the database.

I have 2 queries..

1. Can you set up a projects in Ms Visual interdev without initially creating the project on the server.. ie create locally then once complete release to the server, as every time i try to create a new project it requires access immediatly to the server..and I dont have it yet?

2. I would like to use office web components to create dynamic graphs.. Can i use this just with asp and Access.. or do I have to use another tool such as OLAP?

Any help here would be greatly appreciated as im beginning to tear my hair out ... cheers!

Kathryne.
