SQL QUERY RESULTS TO TEXT FILE

HEY GUYS...My question is iam using SQL Navigator....the RDBMS is Oracle 8i and i want to redirect the columns returned by a query directly to a text file and read them again from it...how do i go about doing this?
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
