Default Need Help

Hello I am quite beginner to ASP, I am using MAcromedia DreamWeaver to code the pages. I save a templpate and , applying that page to every new page, But When I apply that template It won't allow me to edit, or add a table. It says that the code has been Locked by the template. PLesae PLease help me in this regard. Or tell me some other way to do this,
I want that when I change the Template the Whole site should be updated accordingly.

Whats the template for? if your talking about the look and feel of the site, would it not be easier to use html style sheets?
