I have a database with the list of few institutions in access.

I want to create a webpage where I can get the sorted data from this table ...

Like if I make a link with the name of India, by clicking it should display all the results having india in it (in a table form)

can anyone help me in this

There is a lot to learn.

Most typically, you are going to be working with the ADO objects to retrieve data from the database.

You should get your hands on a beginning ASP book and learn the basics, and also get a book that focuses on using a database in an ASP site. This is going to get you started the quickest. Note that there are virtually no new books coming out on ASP, and that you can usually find these books used online at a very low cost.

The problem is, there are dozens of things that you will need to be able to do. If you can already put together a web page in ASP with a form on it that can be submitted, that is a start.

Are you able to do that?

If you can, do you know how to use objects in your code (via the Server.CreateObject)?

Let us know what you have done so far, and perhaps someone here can help.
