In my classic ASP app, I would like to get the user screen width before any page is displayed - e.g. in glabal.asa, so I can have it throughout the app.

As of yet, I have not been able to get this to work using the javascript screen.width property.

Has anyone done this in the past or have any pointers?

You will have to use Javascript since it is executed on the client, where as ASP is executed on the Server and has no idea aboutt he client. (Outside of server variables).

Depending on yoru implementation you could javascript and query values, but i would have to think about it.
