Default Accessing remote secured file shares with ASP

Running into a vexing problem. I need to be able to access a secured file share on a remote system. Both servers are in the same doman (these are intranet servers). The web server is running IIS6.0

We can get this to work by opening the share up to "Everyone", but for security reasons we want to use a domain account to control read/write access to the share.
I have tried setting the application pool for the web to use the domain account, but keep getting access denied. Is this even possible to do?

The remote server must grant access to the IUSR_xxx account where "xxx" is the name of the web server running your ASP page.

Has nothing to do with domains or intranet. Must be done as Windows file share. (Which I guess you knew, since you said it worked with "Everyone," so it's surely just a matter of using the right account name.) I dunno what you meant by "domain account", by the by.
