Default highlighting the search keyword(s)

Hi there

Just wondering if anyone can help me. I'd like to highlight the keyword that the user types into the search field on the search results page.

For instance if the user types in 'apple' I'd like the search word 'apple' to be highlighted in the search results page.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for how to perform this?

thanks

Adam

Hi Adam,

You may want to take a look here: http://www.kryogenix.org/code/browser/searchhi/

This JavaScript highlights keywords in the page that are the result of a search at Google or another search engine. Drop the part that parses the referrer, and I think you end up with what you need.

Cheers,

Imar
