Default has anyone come across this before?

Hi all

I've got this shop that runs using sql, asp with cookies enabled. When I left work on Friday night it was all running fine - orders coming through etc; however, when I returned today, I found that when anyone tried to add items to their shopping cart and then checkout, it always came back with 'nothing in the shopping basket'. I don't know what can have caused this because I haven't touched any code and it all looks fine?!

hoping someone can shed some light on this spooky problem!

thanks

Adam

Weirder still....

The shopping basket works fine on my laptop when I test it locally, but doesn't work on the server or my desktop!

I really do not know what to do; SOS!

Try restarting your web server and see if that helps. OR reboot and see what that does.

Hi Dave

Unfortunately I've already tried that but thanks for the input anyway.

Have you checked permissions between the two machines? How about IIS properties for each site like ability to run scripts or executables? Not sure if that applies here, but it might be worth looking at.

Hi Dave,

Yeah, it seems to have righted itself but still don't know the reason why!
