I tried to create a COM+ application and also to install a new component, firstly l had to register msxml.dll and then went to the component services menu to install the new component microsoft.xmldom but now l cannot open the mmc console and also some of the folders contained in administration tools, the message l get is:
mmc cannot open file due to file does not exist or is not an mmc console or created by a later version of mmc or insufficient rights to the file.

before creating the application etc everything worked well, has anybody had a similar situation and how can it be solved
