Help needed for ASP COM

Hi,
i have developed an ATL dll file to use in ASP. i am trying to give encryption and decryption functionality. i am using 'bstr' as input parameter, and output parameter. my problem is that encrypted message is not recived properly in function. because it can have any special character. i need help in this regard........
