Default How to handle this error
When ever i try to insert data thru text boxes via SQL query in my ASP script, the following error ocurs.

Operation must use an updateable query. (Microsoft JET Database Engine)
I really don't know what causes this error.I need to know the reason and plus how can i handle it.
Could someone help me with this...thanx

Thanx a lot Imaar for your precious help....really the article on your web site provides a great deal of technical information.I'm done with inserting values in my database via SQL query.I made another account , added the necessary permissions and then i was on my way...thankyou very much....
