Default easy one for ya!

Hi i am trying to find out how many records are in a recordset before i get to eof, i am doing it using rs.movenext, but how do i return to the start of the recordset to actually display the records, or is there a command to just tell how many records are in the recordset, eg the length of it or something? thanks a million!
