Default Error connecting to Access

I am connecting to an access database on a novell network box using an oledb connection string.
The referenced path is browsable by the web server (IIS on Win 2000). IUSR has rights to the directory.
we are able to connect to the database with another webserver, but not this one.

The connection test in Dreamweaver MX2004 works and shows all of the
records, but when I try to view the completed page I get this error:
Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'

'G:\xxx\YYY\aZZZ\database\rolodex.mdb' is not a valid path. Make sure that
the path name is spelled correctly and that you are connected to the server
on which the file resides.

/aocinfo/TMPd68ku6mc7m.asp, line 8

Thanks

Durwood

Check once with your connection strings :-

Standard Security:

"Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};Dbq=C:\mydatabase.mdb;Uid=Admin;Pwd=;"

 Workgroup:

"Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};Dbq=C:\mydatabase.mdb;SystemDB=C:\mydatab ase.mdw;"

 Exclusive:

"Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};Dbq=C:\mydatabase.mdb;Exclusive=1;Uid=adm in;Pwd="

Thanks for your help.

It is not ODBC connection - It is OLEDB using Microsoft Jet driver.
The error occurs only when the page runs. During developmentthe connection functions fine.

It's not a code thing. It was a server setting problem. I always smelled a permissions issue.
We got it worked out, but the person with the info is out.

I will elucidate further after I have a tlak with him.
