Im currently trying to give a better explanation to a user when the file they tried to upload exceeding the max set. Currently what happens is that a generic error page is pushed out. I have tried to Redirect/Transfer in the "Application_BeginRequest" and the "Application_Error" in the Global.asax but I still get the generic error page instead of redirecting to the upload page with an error message. I'm heart beat away from taking up knitting.

what are you using to Upload files, any third party components?

Also, there is a limitaion on file size you can upload read on..
