how do i sort a asp mysql db hit by a column that only has zeros and ones in it?

example:

set rs=Con.Execute("select * from contract where company_id = '"& company_id &"' and air_cds like '%"& air_cds &"%' and status = 'live' sort by special asc")

the column special has '1' in it if it is true and '0' if it is false.

how do i return the true conditions 1st?

the above code doesnt work - crashes DB!

Use ORDER BY at the end of the SQL string
mySQL="SELECT * FROM contract WHERE companyId='"& company_id ORDER BY DESC

Give or take some of the characters the formating of the string is incorrect, but the ORDER BY DESC starts at the largest number ASC starts at the lowest #
