hi, i want to learn about the ASP.net WEB Application using an XP. I have already configured my IIS and is already running unfortunately, Im having problem with this error:

The web server reported the followig error when attempting to creaet or open the web project located at the following URL:http://localhost/WebApplication1. The server returned an invalid or unrecognized response

Please if you could help me fix this problem.

windows xp and older versions runs only ASP 3.0 version
must updage your IIS 5.5 to the latest for you to run your ASP.NET
