Default MS SQL 2000 & ASP

Hi there

I've built an admin area where the person can input a date into a field. On the output page I need to determine when one month starts and another one ends so that I can have a header to each month - July or August etc.

Is it possible for sql/asp to determine when one month ends and another one starts? If so, how can I go about it?!

thanks in anticipation

Adam

Hi Adam,

Is that you wanted to find whats the last date of every month?
Not sure what you are looking for. Can you explain it in details?

Hi VJ

Just wanted to be able to put a month header at the top of the relevnant month - i.e where August starts, I'd like to put a header of AUGUST before any dates in August.

Many thanks

Adam

you can use the monthname property in ASP to find the name of the month.I hope that this will solve your problem.
