Default recordcount & stored procedures

Hello all

I have a connection to a stored procedure in MSSQL but I can't seem to use recordcount when I open the recordset. Does anyone know if it can be used with stored procedures.

Are you talking about the recordset's .RecordCount property? If so then you need an adOpenStatic or adOpenKeyset cursor to get this property:
www.adopenstatic.com/faq/recordcounterror.asp

That said, RecordCount is an *expensive* property that requires expensive cursors. There are better ways to get a recordcount:
